Bonjour à tous!  Aujourd'hui, ma publication sera bilingue:  en français et en anglais (très approximatif!!).  Je vous présente l'étiquette que j'ai faite pour l'appel de chez KKS.  J'avais envie de partager un petit tuto sur la partie mixed media de mon étiquette.  Alors, vous devrez patienter jusqu'au bout pour voir l'étiquette finie! Hi everyone!  Today, for the first time, I'm going to post in french AND in english (well kind of english-ish!! ).  This is the tag I made for the call at KKS.  I wanted to share a little tutorial on the mixed media part of my tag.  So, you'll have to wait 'til the end of the post to see the final tag!

D'abord, j'ai utilisé du papier à aquarelle Stratmore pour fabriquer mon étiquette.

First, I used Stratmore watercolor paper to make my tag.

Ensuite, j'ai décidé d'utiliser mes Gelatos pour faire un dégradé dans des couleurs froides. J'ai utilisé mes doigts, un pinceau et de l'eau, ainsi que plusieurs couches de Gelatos pour arriver à un résultat qui me plaisait.

Then, I decided to use my Gelatos to make a cold faded effect.  I used my fingers, a brush, water and a lot of coats of Gelatos to have something I was happy with.

J'ai ensuite utilisé un Gelato plus foncé pour faire ressortir les bords.  Je l'ai simplement étendu avec mon doigt.

I used a darker Gelato to make the borders pop.  I simply smuged it with my finger.

J'ai ajouté du modeling paste argenté d'Heidi Swapp avec un pochoir Heidi Swapp

I added silver Heidi Swapp modeling paste through a Heidi Swapp stencil as well

J'ai ensuite ajouté des éclaboussures de Mister Huey's argent, marine et blanches (pas sur la photo)

Then I splash some Mister Huey's in silver, blue and white (not on the picture)

J'ai étampé des étoiles avec de l'encre blanche

I stamped stars with white ink

Puis, j'ai finalement ajouté un peu de gesso à l'aide d'une éponge pour éclaircir l'endroit où serait Galadriel.

Finally, I added a bit of gesso with a sponge to lighten the spot where I wanted to put Galadriel

Il ne me restait plus qu'à ajouter mon étampe découpée et mes ornements.

I only had to add my fussy cut stamp and my embellishments.

Et...roulement de tambour...voilà le résultat!

And...there it is!
